This 2 hour fundamentals of rolling class covers the basics of rolling from the wet exit to bow rescues. This class is great for individuals who have completed our outdoor lake lesson who are hoping to gain additional experience and confidence with the fundamentals of rolling. This class sets you up for success for our Pool Part B - Rolling. For river lessons, this class is not a substitute for the outdoor Introduction to River Kayaking. PREREQUISITES: Introduction to River Kayaking, wet exit and bow rescue test, or private instruction

Pool classes are available Feb 18th - June
This 2 hour roll class helps those who are learning to roll for the first time, or working to improve a roll to make it better. The focus is on C to C or Sweep rolling; however we can help you with your off side, hand, or back deck roll as well. PREREQUISITES: Introduction to River Kayaking; Fundamentals of Rolling Part A; wet exit and bow rescue test, or significant roll experience.

We are offering open pool sessions for kids through age 18. No experience is necessary, and instruction is included for this particular open pool. We will have boats and gear available, although the smallest gear is available on a first come, first serve basis. Sessions will take place on Sundays from 6-8 pm at the Golden Rec Center, March 17th* 4pm-6pm only this date. We will break into groups to work on skills and come back together for some fun games at the end of each session. Advanced registration is required. This pool session is dedicated to getting more Colorado kids out on the water and building the Colorado kids' paddling community.
